- Dulce de Leche Buttercream1 batch
- Chocolate GanachePlace 2 ounces chopped dark chocolate and 2 ounces whipping cream into a microwave safe bowl. Microwave in 10 second intervals stirring in between until you get a beautiful silky chocolate ganache.
Place one layer of cake on a cake dish. Top with 2/3 cup of the buttercream.
Place next layer of cake on top of the first cake. Top with 2/3 of the buttercream.
Add 3rd cake on top.
Frost and smooth the cake with a thin crumb coat of buttercream. Chill
Place small dollops of ganache around the top edges allowing the chocolate to drip down the sides.
Fill the top of the cake with more ganache and spread evenly with spatula.
Take the remainder of the buttercream and decorate top of cake with rosettes or another design if you wish.

TIP: Drip technique works best on a chilled cake.
